At present most of the studies of building lightning strike from work, a lot of uplink pilot originating mechanism is a lack of theoretical basis and ignore the building itself size on the effects of lightning strike from. Therefore, this article mainly USES the charge simulation method and normal polarity uplink pilot starting physical model, docking lightning rod tip atmospheric electric field distortion situation and answer the lightning rod from lightning strike are studied. The main research results are as follows:(1) By using charge simulation method and docking lightning rod tip the study of atmospheric electric field distortion effect, Closer to pick up the lightning rod tip atmospheric electric field distortion effect is stronger, potential rate faster, more easy to trigger the uplink pilot.(2) By using normal polarity uplink pilot starting physical model, butt flashing lightning strike from research, it is concluded that the lightning strike and return current amplitude, the discrete relational expression between height of lightning rod.
