In order to recognize oil source fault transfer zones and study its favorable conditions of oil- gas transportation, based on the research of predecessors, taking Wen’an slope structure zone, Liuchu structure zone and Daliuquan-Hexiwu structure zone in Jizhong depression as examples, the geometry character and kinematic character of fault had been analyzed, the strong active period and history of formation and evolution had been determined, then fault system of Jizhong depression was summarized. According to definition of oil source fault, the oil source faults which connected mature source rock and reserve rock, acted and open in oil-gas reservoir period were determined.With research result of predecessors synthesized, type models of oil source fault transfer zone were divided, then based on type and evolution period of oil source fault transfer zone, the division standard and reference of different periods were determined, 3 recognition methods of oil source fault transfer zone had been summarized as fault throw-length curve method, fault throw in fault plane method and buried depth in fault plane method. Based on those above, oil source fault ancient transfer zone was recovered by maximum fault throw subtract method, then evolution period and shape character of oil source fa ult transfer zone could be analyzed.The discuss about favorable conditions on oil- gas transportation of oil source fault transfer zone was mainly divided into 3 aspects as oil- gas potential difference, sand body growth and fracture growth. Taking Daliuqua n-Hexiwu structure and Wen’an slope structure as example, the three-dimensional fault plane and fluid potential with oil- gas distribution at oil source fault transfer zone were studied, and ancient oil potential was used into evaluation. Taking large area sand body distribution in Wen’an slope structure and stripe area sand body distribution in Liuchu structure as example, sand body sedimentary faces in horizon and sand body connection in vertical were studied, and ratio of sand to ground and chance of sand body connection were used into evaluation. Taking south area of Wen’an slope structure as example, the relation between oil source fault transfer zone and fracture growth was studied, utilizing FRS software to simulate fracture distribution, and fracture density was used into evaluation.The discuss about control effect of oil source fault transfer zone to oil- gas accumulation was mainly divided into 2 aspects as soft connected transfer zone and hard connected transfer zone, in different trend of oil source fault soft connected transfer zone, there were different types of oil-gas reservoirs, and the trends mainly consisted of opposite trend type and backward trend type. In different trend of oil source fault hard connected transfer zone, oil- gas reservoirs formed in different place, and the trends mainly consisted of straight trend type and reverse trend type, all those types above were studied with practical cases.
