| Based on the regional geology, drilling, logging, core and other data, this article presents the division and correlation of strata. With the knowledge of sedimentology, well logging geology theory and methods, associated with application of drilling(core, cuttings logging), logging, analysis of laboratory data and previous research on the of regional sedimentary facies and depositional condition, this research identified the types of micro- facies in the study area using single well, connection well profile contrast and flat contours from the Taiyuan formation to the He 8 member to characterize the sedimentary facies. For upper He 8 member, Shanxi formation the facies are mainly meandering river; for the lower He 8 member, it is mainly braided river deposits; and for the Taiyuan formation it is mainly tidal flat deposits. |
