For putaohua oil layer the existence of original geological stratification limits chaos,reservoir understanding fuzzy, complex oil-water relationship and a series problems in shengping and satelite north area, with sedimentary petrology, seismic sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy theory as the foundation,the integrated use of seismic, core data, well logging, mud logging, for putaohua oil layer in the studied area of the stratigraphic sequence division, sediment source, sedimentary system, sedimentary microfacies, reservoir development degree, sedimentary evolution and oil and water distribution characteristics an in-depth study. Putaohua oil layer in the study area is divided into 9 small layer 14 time unit,set up a time unit level unified fine isochronous stratigraphic framework. The results show that with the fluvial-dominated shallow-water delta sedimentary system in the study area, the sediment source is in the north, development within delta distributary plain subfacies and delta front subfacies, sand body in north and south to distribution, the delta front- delta distributary plain-delta front sedimentary evolution rule. In vertical, oil enrichment on oil-water interface of distributary channel relative development unit of time, concentration distribution in the advantage of faul-sand of river- sand configuration phase on the plane.Finally comprehensive sedimentary microfacies types, inversion sand body thickness, oil and water distribution, forecasting favorable areas, achieve daqing oil-field continuous production.
