The development of seismic exploration data acquisition and transmission system based on large-scale self-organized wireless sensor networks is an important research direction. In order to meet the needs of wireless seismic data acquisition, namely wireless seismic data acquisition, wireless data transmission network, and seismic acquisition control center system, three development researches are carried out in this paper.For the requirements of wireless acquisition for seismic exploration data, wireless acquisition nodes are realized by using the VW 3X1 type moving-coil geophone core of PS-1 OX and the ADS 1256 digital-analog converter chip.The wireless acquisition nodes sampling precision can reach 24 bits and the sampling rate is up to 2000 SPS, which can meet the demand of real-time output of seismic data acquisition.For the requirements of wireless transmission of seismic exploration data, by fully analysing the advantages and disadvantages of the various existing wireless transmission schemes, the heterogeneous wireless transmission network based on regional clustering is adopted. The ZigBee protocol whose physical layer based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard is adopted in the seismic acquisition nodes intra-cluster, which satisfies the upload speed of the seismic data in geophone nodes and reduces the power consumption and cost. The Ad-hoc network based on embedded Linux, whose physical layer based on the IEEE 802.11 b/g standard, is adopted in the connection between clusters, which can ensure the calculation ability, seismic data upload speed and real-time transmission.For the design requirement of the center control system of seismic exploration, the Xserve middleware in Ubuntu 12.04 is used as the interface between seismic acquisition nodes network and upper applications, application interface is designed based on the secondary development of Ekoview Web system, configure web server by Apache2. The center control system can parse the uploaded seismic data by the XML file, and saves the corresponding seismic data to a CSV file, and can display the real-time information packet in a web interface.
