In order to ensure migration and accumulation of oil and gas in Western Basin Qaidam,on the basis of geologic background and previous research results, Hongliuquan Oilfield and Yingdong Oilfield are chosen to study through all related data. Chromatography mass spectrometry, quantitative fluorescence and numerical simulation are used to research migration and accumulation of oil and gas on the basis of inclusion thermometry. The results indicate that there are two kinds of inclusions: yellow fluorescence inclusion and blue fluorescence inclusion, in Western Qaidam. And homogenization temperature of Hongliuquan is 65.7℃ and 90.1℃, corresponding accumulation time is 24 Ma and 4Ma,respectively while Yingdong is 69.3 ℃ and 98.7 ℃, corresponding accumulation time is 11 Ma and 4Ma,respectively.With the lead of chronological accumulation theory, migration and accumulation of oil and gas is gotten combining with numerical simulation and structural evolution history. In Hongliuquan: when it was 24 Ma, the trap began to take shape, immature oils corresponding yellow fluorescence inclusion began to migrate and accumulate. Afterwards from late N21 to early N22 oils migrated to shallow beds and accumulated here through faults and crack. When it was 4Ma, with the increase of formation depth there was low mature oil in middle and western parts while mature oil in eastern part because of large depth. On the effect of density difference oil accumulated differently through faults and cracks. In Yingdong, when it was 11 Ma, the trap began to take shape, immature oils corresponding yellow fluorescence inclusion began to migrate and accumulate. Afterwards due to the late Himalayan tectonic movements, immature oils were lost with the faults to surface. When it was 4Ma, source rock continued evolution and began to generate mature oil, and with fault migration and buoyancy effect, crude oil migrated to Up Ganchaigou Formation and accumulated here because with depth turn deep, the seal turn good and forming Yingdong Reservoir...
