The glutenite reservoir of northern Dongying is one of the key blocks of exploration and development in recent years, and it’s also one of the most important oil capacity positions of Shengli Oil field.The glutenite Stratum in the study area has many characteristics, such as the large lithology variation, the complex rock electricity relationship, the strong heterogeneity, the many influencing factors of the conventional logging curves, the nonlinear relation of the glutenite formation geologic features and logging curves and so on. So the nonlinear mathematical method is used in the glutenite lithology recognition in this paper. This method can extract the useful information of the logging curves to the maximum and distinguish the formation lithology.The Es4 glutenite reservoir of northern Dongying has the characteristics of multiphase development, complex structure and strong heterogeneity. It’s very hard to divide the glutenite time section with only the seismic data. So the optimum partition method is used to reconstruct the conventional logging curves. And then the glutenite strata interface is distinguished by the extreme points of reconstructing curves, the seismic data and the lithology interfaces.This paper analyzes and evaluates the reservoir validity effectiveness using the reservoir parameters calculated by the petrophysical facies method. The method achieves the result that the same kind of reservoir has the similar response on the well logging curves. This method can improve the calculation accuracy of the reservoir parameters to a large level. The oil and water layers of the reservoirs can be distinguished more accurately by combining multi parameters.This method has been used in the interpretation and evaluation of the glutenite reservoir in northern Dongying and a good result has been achieved.
