Handan-Xingtai mantle-derived magma ore area is one of the most important regions for polymetallic metallogensis,contain a variety of metals, non-metallic mineral deposit.Xingshutai pyrite is located in Han xing mantle-derived magma ore area, the main ore types are pyrrhotite, pyrite,copper, magnetite. A plurality of mineralization prospect area in the region, the geological characteristics and genesis of deposits has important research and production value of regional prospecting. Based on field geological research work, this paper take stage mining pyrrhotite body of Xingshutai pyrite as the main object of study and by working of petrography, microelement, rare earth element, fluid inclusion.This paper will discuss the geological feature of ore deposit and the genesis of ore deposit on the base of available information.The ore body occur in the amphibolite, biotite hornblende plagiogneiss, biotite plagiogneiss of Archaean Wutai Group. Ore body is layered and lenticular.The boundaries of orebodies and country rock are clear and consistent. This shows that the ore body is deposited and contemporary. The main mineral composition of mineral are pyrrhotite, pyrite,copper, magnetite and the minor mineral composition is sphalerite. The main gangue mineral are amphibole, garnet, and the minor gangue mineral are chlorite and calcite. The main ore structure is granular structure and the main structure is massive structure.The wall rock alteration what are related to mineralization are garnet petrochemical- suicide, suicide- chlorite, carbonation. Migmatized within the mining area have a certain relationship with the mineralization.The chondrite normalized REE FIG of Xingshutai pyrite ore and wall rock is similar.They have low REE contents, right standard curve and not obvious differentiation of light and heavy rare earth elements.It shows that the diagenesis and mineralization occured in the island arc and ydrothermal mixed with seawater what δCe show negative anomalies and the value of δEu is approximately equal to 1. S isotope characteristics confirms this inference also.The ore and wall rock’s Eh-p H characteristics show that the diagenetic and metallogenic environment was weak reduction environment. Fluid inclusion test and S isotope mineral thermometer computing indicate that the mineralization temperature was about 400℃. Xingshutai pyrite’s deposit type is massive sulphide deposits which was reformed by metamorphism and migmatization.
