The water load on the slope of a major role in the form of rainfall on the slope, at the same time formed inside the slope seepage field with internal slope stress field coupling, thus affecting the stability of the slope. In the rock slope, bedding slope is more of a deformation and failure occurred, often resulting in incalculable loss for construction, so the research of water load impact on bedding rock slope stability has a larger engineering significance. Based on previous studies, this text studied the common types of failure bedding rock slope,then analyzed the coupling of seepage field and stress field and calculation method rock slope under the water load, and established numerical model on the basis of Cihaxia Hydropower Station water release slope, and first calculated the stability of slope by limit equilibrium method,then using Geostudio software to simulate, analyzed slope seepage、stress and strain、stability. The methods used in this paper and the main results obtained are as follows:(1) The paper studied the common types of failure bedding rock slope, analyzed the failure mechanism and the mechanism of water load on rock slope.(2) The paper studied the common model of rock slope seepage field and stress field coupling analysis: The discrete fracture network model、The equivalent continuum model、The dual media model. And it analyzed the coupling condition of different models, then put forward relevant calculation method of them.(3)We got the related rock slope parameters of drainage slope through field investigation and experiment on the basis of Cihaxia Hydropower Station Project.Then we calculated the stability of slope by limit equilibrium method,and using the finite element method to analyze slope seepage、stress and strain、stability。(4)Software simulated the influence situation of rainfall infiltration and discharge rain infiltration on the slope, the results show:1 Rain infiltration has a large influence on slope deformation, and it changes the stability factor of slope; 2 Seepage has little effect on the maximum principal stress and the minimum principal stress, but the local stress has some changes; 3 The time length of rain and fog has a large influence on slope seepage: In theshort term,seepage increased with the increase of time, and it formed transient saturated zones showers, then reduced the slope stability.
