The well logging evaluation study of low resistivity reservoirs in home and abroad is a worldwide problem mainly because each low resistivity reservoir has different accumulation mechanism, reservoir characteristics and causes, and this result in different characteristics of logging response, so there is no universal model for logging evaluation and assessment methods. In this paper,as the low resistivity reservoirs with the characteristics of high pressure, medium porosity and low permeability,it si difficult to identify the causes and oil-water formation. The main technical routes include comprehensive analysis causes, of low resistance reservoir, four propertiesl relations and oil-water identification method based on the full use of logging, geological, testing, core analysis and other information. This provides a scientific basis for the next step in reservoir evaluation and calculation of reserves. For this reason, this paper conduct the research in the following areas:Based on the core data, log interpretation date, oil test date, carried out a detailed study of four properties relationship, thereby establishing a standard of four-character limit. Based on a comprehensive analysis of log response characteristics of the different nature of the reservoir, established the oil-water layer identification plate and explores the method of using NMR logging data to scale conventional logging.Accroading to the main lithological characteristics of the target layer and based on core experiments and logging data.we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the main factors controlling the microscopic and geological causes of low resistivity reservoir and study shows that low oil saturation, salinity mud invasion, high salinity of formation water are the main causes of low resistivity.Based on the research of four properties(lithology, physical properties, oil-bearing property, electrical) relations, establish porosity and permeability of logging interpretation model,and analyz the key factors affecting the low-resistivity reservoir of oil saturation by a variety of methods to achieve the calculation of reservoir water saturation.By applying these findings,the well logging date was processed and find that Log interpretation compliance rate reach 86.3%. This provides a scientific basis for the field development plan and this also has important theoretical guidance for well logging evaluation of other low resistivity oil field well logging evaluation.
