Ecological environment problem is very complicated,the traditional 3S technology to realize the real-time monitoring and evaluation of the ecological environment has been difficult to meet the requirements, Cloud platform of GIS become a new way to solve this problem. In this context,this study explores the Cloud platform of GIS theory in ecological environment monitoring and evaluation content,main combs and perfected the Cloud platform of GIS in the field of ecological environment for the construction of the content,the technical architecture,development trend,application system and application mode, etc.Based on the research of the Hadoop open source framework and key technologies used, set up the Cloud platform of GIS base environment based on Hadoop framework; Study design efficient storage and management of massive remote sensing data model method, in view of the huge amounts of spatial data storage and management of the key technology of using the Hadoop framework model, design the corresponding optimization strategy, improve the efficiency of storage and management;Based on Cloud platform of GIS in Guizhou province ecological environment monitoring and evaluation of the application system, according to the business logic of the ecological environment monitoring and evaluation, design the function modules of the application system, and each function analysis of parallelism, the strategy combination, complete application system development; Analysis of the ecological environment monitoring and evaluation application system of each function, the massive spatial data efficiently credibility and execution efficiency of storage management method with the traditional stand-alone, commercial cloud compared results credibility and execution efficiency of Cloud platform of GIS.and to the discussion of the results it is concluded that:(1)GIS of Cloud application system implementation function compared with single ENVI software function:on credibility, the Cloud platform of GIS of parallel processing and ENVI standalone software the result image is consistent, its results from theoretical analysis, Cloud platform of GIS business logic algorithms are implemented by IDL, and language is the basis of single ENVI software is consistent with the underlying environment, so as long as the unified algorithm model, the results of calculation are consistent. this ensures the function of the application system the credibility of the results.on the execution efficiency, by comparing the calculation process of NDVI and NPP is found that the more Cloud platform of GIS computing nodes, shorter operation time, greater speed ratio(Cloud platform of GIS execution time/single execution time). when computing nodes is less than 3, the Cloud platform of GIS computing time is greater than the single serial running time, accelerated ratio less than 1, the Cloud platform of GIS advantage is not obvious.(2) Cloud platform of GIS and the traditional stand-alone contrast found in the mass data storage management: ① The pyramid building:The amount of data to build the pyramids and the build time is linear related basic,continues to increase as the amount of data, Cloud platform of GIS construction significantly increased fast, the Cloud platform of GIS to build better than the single ArcSDE, and such advantages as data volumes increase more and more obvious, embodied the Cloud platform of GIS data intensive computing advantage; but with the increase of the hierarchy(pyramid after the fourth floor), reduced the volume of data, it is main leading system overhead and Cloud platform of GIS is not dominant, even ArcSDE is more efficient. ② The data query:The size of spatial query range and time basic into linear positive correlation; In the case of not build an index(substance line sequence index), to the query of the Guizhou province range of MODIS data, when the query range is less than 3%, not build index query efficiency is somewhat higher than P2 H index, slightly less time. but with the increase of query range, data volume increase, at this time to establish P2 H index of the query time significantly less than the time of not indexed, and this advantage with the increase of the amount of data in the continuously expanding. ③The parallel storage: Huge amounts of data amount of data warehousing and storage time always is linearly related to the amount when the data is less than 100 MB, the Cloud platform of GIS and single in storage time were similar, even single storage time is shorter. but with the increase of the amount of data, single time significantly more than the Cloud platform of GIS, and the Cloud platform of GIS of this advantage deepening; based on the Cloud platform of GIS storage data is linear positive correlation between quantity and speed of put in storage, and based on the single warehouse storage speed and quantity of the data is positive correlation between the negative correlation, after turning point occurred in the amount of data is 300 MB; In the amount of data is less than 500 MB, Cloud platform of GIS and single storage speed difference is not big, even single storage speed was once above the the Cloud platform of GIS, but continues to increase as the amount of data, Cloud platform of GIS storage speed was obviously higher than that of single machine speed, and this advantage continues to expand.(3) Cloud platform of GIS and Envi Services Engine(ESE) products comparative analysis found that:Envi Service Engine and the Cloud platform of GIS on the run results due to the algorithm and implementation language(IDL) is consistent, so there was no difference in the results.On the execution efficiency, small amount of data(18MB), and the basic execution efficiency is the same,as data volumes increase, ESE execution efficiency is slightly higher than the Cloud platform of GIS, and that the base environment of commercial ESE platform support is much higher.
