The surface of western region is complex, static correction restricted area exploration. Research in the western region of target for the Piedmont steep structures with characteristics of seismic data, carry out complex area steep structures static correction technology. Through forward modeling, steep structures typical of the area during the propagation of seismic waves complex wave field variation; for information on the steep structures characteristic of the corresponding surface constraint-based near-surface static correction, simulated annealing residual statics technical and Constrained Global Optimization band bidirectional search static correction. Through the application of the actual data,forming the western steep structures for victory statics seismic data processing technology to improve the steep structures under complex conditions imaging quality.This paper mainly focuses on the western piedmont zone static correction technology research and application. Through forward modeling, methods of research and practical application of data analyzed piedmont zone of static correction of the problem, West proposed to solve complex surface area statics techniques, carried out in the corresponding actual data blocks statics, and achieved good results. Through research summed up a set of effective western region statics technology to further improve the seismic imaging, and achieved good exploration results.
