The Es3 and Es4 in Yongbei area Dongying sunken widely developed glutinite bodys. This paper systematically analysed material and data from all respects in basis of achievement of predecessors. The author planed the thesis as a whole and makes great efforts to bring new ideas. The thesis followed the principle that the geological phenomenon is generally the regular of image and tried hard to recover the regular pattern of line in geological history with systematical and connective view.First of all, in basis of comprehensively analyzing of material including seism and logging,considering the development and structure movement of Dongying sag the author divided the layer sequences. Palaeogene is divided into one first sequence, four second sequences and five third sequences. Then the author divided the system tract of the inner sequence and established the structure of layer the sequence.Secondly, the author summarized the condition of growing oil in the studying area in basis of previous achievements and the collected material. Through the study,the thesis hold the view that the source rock is wide in the studying area and the condition was good for oil producing. These conditions was well provided for the formation of glutenite bodies oil and gas reservoir..Thirdly, considering the complexity of reservoir condition and varieties of reservoir in different glutenite bodies the thesis summarized the characteristic of reservoirs in different sedimentary systems and then compared the rock character, physical character, electrical character, the ability of maintaining oil and gas.Afterwards, this thesis systematically analysed the cap rock which is easily neglected. In the first place, the net of geological parameter was established. Then the question of seal property was analysed and explained according to the net and an objective answer was obtained. By the study the author think that the grey mud was better in sealing either at breakthrough press or the plasticity and the seal property in Ng is not better than Es1 and Es4.Finally, in the basis preceding study, a systematical analysis was done to study the combination of source rock, reservoir,cap rock,pathway system, pool-forming system and analyse the distribution of oil and gas.
