Gyro totalstation which is a combination of the gyro can find north and object Angle measuring instrument are measured. Because of the high precision orientation, to adapt to all the weather, at any time and place of independent measurements, Gyro totalstation has been widely applied to military, mapping, underground engineering, mining, etc.GAT mangnetic levitation gyro totalstation developed by the Institute of Survey and Space Information in ChangAn University and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation’16th Instisute is the first high-accuracy mangnetic levitation gyro.In this paper, the wavelet de-noising theory applied to the gyro drift signal processing and obtain an encouraging results.Firstly,the paper mainly illustrates the basic concepts of wavelet transform,some often used Wavelet function,the important of the wavelet analysis and time-frequency analysis and wavelet analysis is very important for the double scale equation are analyzed in theory.Through the simulation experiment shows the multi-resolution analysis of wavelet analysis in signal applications.The dissertation analyzes chatacteristic of signal and noise in wavelet analysis. At last,the thresshod de-noising method was introduced.Secondly,based on the traditional wavelet thresholding de-noising method, Proposed an improved wavelet thresholding method. The improved wavelet thresholding de-noising method is applied to de-noisethe output signal of the GAT gyro,The experiment results of every kind of threshold function show that the denoising performancw of imroved wavelet thresholding de-noising method is much better than traditional method.In the end, For rotor current caused by environment mutation data sudden jump, The paper is denoising for waveforms of rotor current date by using wavelet transform modulus maximum.It turned out that after denoising signal effectively removed most of the burr and the good de-noising result is achieved.
