| In China’s central and western regions in the loess, with the implementation of the western development strategy, more and more projects in the loess area. However, as the loess has a porous, characteristics of strong permeability, construction projects at the same time makes slope ecological environment in the area variable the very worst. Therefore, plant protection engineering strengthening comprehensive prevention and control measures has become loess slope treatment the best choice, which study on slope of dominant plant populations has become the focus of plant protection.The ultimate goal of plant protection is the formation of autotrophic plant community ecosystem stability, so the choice of plant species and community collocation method has great research significance. The slope vegetation is the main body of ecological restoration, can prevent the slope erosion and slope reinforcement, slope protection function, but there is a significant improvement on the recovery of the ecological environment. Therefore, according to the characteristics of loess in Yan’an arid region, presented to the regional climate, vegetation types and distribution of geological environment and terrain features is particularly important. This paper takes Yan’an area natural yellow soil slope as the research object, through field investigation, field test and other methods on the growth characteristics of slope vegetation in Yan’an area, analysis and research the mechanical characteristics are as follows:(1) The Yan’an loess slope plants mainly to cold, drought and strong endogenous plant mainly, such as Artemisia ordosica, virgate wormwood, ice grass, Achnatherum splendens.(2) The slope of plant growth characteristics and slope, the humidity equilateral slope shape and rock and soil characteristics are directly related, and there are some differences among species.(3) The plant root tensile strength test indicated that the main influence factors of plant resistance to tension with root diameter, root length, root soil friction. The Artemisia plant drawing force experiments showed: vegetation anti pulling force and root diameter and roots to grow into an exponential function relation, and with some differences exist in plant root diameter, root length increases. Vegetation in the same root diameter, different Artemisia vegetation uplift force: Chop > Artemisia ordosica > Artemisia annua > Artemisia argyi > virgate wormwood.(4) The artificial fill slope and natural slope planting of Artemisia ordosica rooted soil mechanics properties were studied. The results show: artificial fill slope erosion and soil internal friction angle increases slightly with root soil cohesion c in scouring and non root soil about 42.19% higher than, in erosion increased about 54.3%; natural slopes and artificial fill slope of rules is similar, but by the degree of compaction effect, cohesion improve less, about 15.02%. Test results show that plant roots on slope surface have obvious reinforcement and protection role.(5) Put forward the suitable plant population and engineering vegetation protection measures under the slope of loess slope in Yan’an. |
