Baxian sag and Raoyang sag which have various structures of different scales and types are the most important oil-forming sags in Jizhong depression. This paper takes geometry, kinematics and dynamics of Raoyang and Baxian sags as research objects by analyzing the areal geology background, three dimensional seismic data, structure superface data and logging data., The geometry characteristics of Raoyang and Baxian sag and Anxin-Wenan transfer zones are made definite with analysis of the geology background and the characteristics of three dimensional seismic data. The formation and evolutionary process are restored by calculating stretch throw, stretch rate and using the method of balanced cross section. Finally, by means of research on the basal structures this paper definite the deference of mechanism in Raoyang and Baxian sag.The conclusions can be stated as follows: Raoyang sag which controlled by the taidong and maxi-hejian-liulu destructions is a duplex-fault sag, that have lots of synsedimentary faultings and strike-slip structures. Meanwhile, Baxian sag is controlled by the niudong fault which is unique boundary fault in the sag, and has postern strike slip structures. The critical influence on Raoyang and Baxian sag by the Anxin-Wenan transfer zone is definite. The formation and evolutionary process of each period are restored, vigorous protraction of Raoyang sag took place in Es3, Baxian sag took place in Es4 to Ek, and Anxin-Wenan transfer zone took place in Es3 when. Research on boundary’s structural attitude verifies the dynamics origin of Raoyang and Baxian sag, that is, simple shear mode model is applicable for duplex fault structure of Raoyang sag, and pure shear model is applicable for single fault structure of Baxian sag.
