For reveal contiguous peak-cluster depressions characteristics and spatial distribution pattern of southern slope area of Guizhou, used ArcGIS9.3, Erdas9.2, SPSS19.0, GS+3.0 to extract and analyze the morphological data of peak-cluster depression.Found the results and conclusions are as follows:1) The relative elevation of the peak-cluster depression is mainly distributed in the range of 200-300 m and 100-200 m, peak-cluster area is mainly distributed in the range of 10.59-41.63hm2, depression area is less than 1.52hm2. 2) Have certain influence to relative elevation, peak-cluster depression area and mean slope with different condition of lithology, but in the same time that show some regularity, such as: Under the condition of homogenous dolomite to form deep peak-cluster depression of Anlong, homogenous limestone form deep peak-cluster depression is more than limestone/ clastic rock alternations of west of Pingtang, homogenous limestone form mean slope to more of east of Xingyi, limestone/ dolomite rock alternations form mean slope to more of Ziyun-Luodian-Wangmo. 3) Different elevation has a certain control effect on the development of peak cluster depression, mean slope of the smaller direction of the trend of development along with the elevation of study area, the number of peak-cluster and depressions in the area is increasing development along with the elevation of Anlong and south of Huishui, but others contrary. 4) The spatial distribution is obvious of different elevation types, spatial distribution diversity, the depression elevation and peak-cluster elevation distribution was similar, the relative elevation is reduced from the inside to the outside of the trend of study area, the elevation of depression in the S-N and NW- SE small spatial heterogeneity. 5) The slope evolution is closely related to the bedrock of peak cluster depression, the mean slope distribution is similar to the lithology of Pingtang and Xingyi, on the whole, homogenous limestone mainly distributions high value, limestone/ dolomite rock alternations form high value of mean slope of Ziyun-Luodian-Wangmo. 6) Peak-cluster depression of all types of area were positively correlated and has a negatively correlate between relative elevation and elevation, the significant positive correlation between relative elevation and peak-cluster area and the relative elevation and elevation was negatively related to depression, that shows depression elevation controlling effects on the relative elevation may. 7) Depression elevation along with peak-cluster elevation increased, shows intense uplift of the earth’s crust of southern slope area of Guizhou and the uplift rate should exceed the peak-cluster rate. 8) The relationship between mean slope and area is more complicated and mostly weak correlation, has stronger positive correlation between relative elevation and mean slope, while other elevations were negatively correlated with the mean slope. 9) Based on the relative elevation is divided into five types, mainly have shallow depressions and deeper depressions on study area. 10) Based on the depression area is divided into five types, mainly have small depressions, less depressions and large depressions on study area. 11) Based on the peak-cluster area is divided into five types, mainly have small peak-cluster and large peak-cluster on study area. 12) Based on the peak-cluster area and relative elevation are divided into five types, mainly have small peak-cluster and shallow depressions, small peak-cluster and deep depressions, large peak-cluster and shallow depressions, large peak-cluster and deep depressions on study area. 13) Based on the peak-cluster and depressions area are divided into five types, mainly have small peak-cluster and small depressions, small peak-cluster and large depressions, large peak-cluster and small depressions, large peak-cluster and large depressions.
