On the basis of laboratory study and field geological investigation, high grade metamorphic rocks assemblage like the schist-gneiss, felsic-granular rocks, calc-silicate rocks, characterized by graphite and al-rich minerals, such as sillimanite, andalusite and cordierite, exposed in western Kuluketage area. The rocks assemblage above belong to typical khondalite series. The major element of the schist-gneiss and felsic-granular rocks in khondalite series are wide, high content of REE, LREE enrichment, HREE depleted and weak negative Eu anomalies. Geochemical characteristics indicate that the rocks assemblage has consanguinity with North China Craton and adjacent regions. The protolith of khondalite series was al-rich argillaceous-greywacke-calcareous sedimentary rock, and probably generated in back-arc basin of the active continental margin with main clastic of felsic intrusive rocks. The LA-ICP-MS U-Pb isotope dating analysis showed that: the detrital zircon of khondalite series exist 1838~2636Ma age information, and record two metamorphic events of ~1.85 Ga and ~1.92 Ga, its provenance maybe early new archean TTG rock series.Field geological features, the rocks assemblage and distribution characterics, geochemical characteristics and chronology indicate that: Tarim Craton are familiar with North China Craton during palaeoproterozoic to new-archean, and assembled together to the Columbia supercontinent about ~1.85 Ga.
