The increasing CO2 concentration has become the focus of attention of the international society. As a traditional detection method, ground-based observation data is easy to obtain with high reliability, but it is difficult to provide macro CO2 observation data, air-borne observation also has similar problems and is difficult to maintain a sustained and stable atmospheric observation. While space-based observation can provide stable, continuous and macro CO2 observation data. At present, with increasing atmospheric CO2 observation data, the calibration of multi-source heterogeneous data from different observation methods, especially the validation of space-based observation data is important to the research work of atmospheric CO2 observation and distribution based on multi-source data. This paper validate the multi-source CO2 observation data on the surface and in the mid-troposphere which provide new way to validating atmospheric observation data based on multi-sources data, and virtual display the distribution of multi-sources CO2 data which will provide a new perspective for the public to understand the climate and researchers‘ climate research. The main contents are as follows:(1) Introduces the background and data of GAW, TCCON and AIRS, respectively analyze the AIRS products and its HDF file format.(2) Analyze the characteristics of the distribution and time span of GAW, TCCON and AIRS data. Design data preprocessing methods for GAW, TCCON and AIRS data.(3) Established structure of calibration for GAW, TCCON and AIRS, select and determine the inspection area for stereo-calibration. Select and define the parameters for stereo-calibration. GAW based on the reliable data from the surface to check one by one in tropospheric atmospheric CO2 detection data sources.(4) Introduce system development environment and technology of the global CO2 virtual display platform, design the system structure. Simulate AIRS CO2 global distribution based on MATLAB. Explore the method for virtual display of multi-sources of atmospheric CO2 distribution based on OSGEarth.
