Baiyangling Ida is located in the northeastern margin of Qinshui Basin,it is a good section of Qinshui Basin of Terrestrial strata of Shihezi group because near the ida the Permian Shihezi Formation of good exposure, the sedimentary characteristics is clear. In this paper, we analyzed and studied the sedimentary environment and evolution, provide theoretical basis for further exploration and production of coal field by using the theory of subject of research methods of sedimentology, sedimentary petrology and high-resolution sequence stratigraphy. Research shows: The type of clastic rocks refere the sourse of the rocks is mixed sourse. At the same time also shows that the tectonic deformation of the provenance region during the The Permian Period is strong. The sedimentary environment of the Shihezi Formation is fluvial facies, it turns meandering stream to braided stream from the Lower Shihezi Formation to the Upper Shihezi Formation, lacustrine facies are contained. The sedimentary environment also changed from weak reduction to oxidizing environment. 4 different levels of sequence boundaries are identified in the study area and according to them, the research area is divided into 6 long term cycle sequences, 13 middle cycle sequences and 28 short term cycle sequences. And we judge the sedimentary environment according to the different interface types and cycle types. In the last, we divided the high resolution sequence stratigraphic cycle level of the Shihezi Formation of the study area. Finish the high-resolution isochronic correlation, established the Sequence stratigraphic framework and do the comparison and study of the cycles in the sequence stratigraphic framework.
