Geological Disasters’ Characteristics And The Cause Analysis In Express Highway Corridor Field Of PingLi~ZhenPing

Decades after the reform and opening-up policy, Chinese express highway construction was mainly in plain and hill. With the development of the technique, quality of the express highway increases step by step. At the beginning of the 21 st century—the western development strategy,Express highway gradually extended to mountainous area.As result of complex geological conditions and various structural changes,it always leads to geological disasters such as landslides 、 avalanche 、 mudslide.these threaten property and traffic safty.Therefore,identification of geological disasters’ ’ features and reason、distribution and effective evaluation in highway corridor plays important role in protecting express highway construction and operations.Thesis based on(Ping~Zhen Express Highway Engineering)geological engineering prospecting projects,and do the express highway geological engineering survey in Ping~Zhen(K39+970~K83+075), combining engineering physical exploration and do the involved analysis and research in corridor engineering geological problems,result as follows:1、 The area located in Qing Ba mountainous area Da Ba north.Montains are steep,valley is narrow and deep,wide dams are so seldom. Field had multi-periodic tectonic evolution and tectonic structure was fairly complex. High and steep slope easily leads to landslides, avalanches and mudslide under comprehensive reasons.2、 Engineering geological express highway survey shows: the field has 43 landslides,and 11 landslides have influence in route;the field has 11 avalanches and 8 avalanches has influences to the route;field has 1 mudslide. 3 typical landslides and 1 avalanches have serious impact on the route and the route is difficult to avoid.The thesis makes the stability analysis and provide the necessary protective measures in unstable landslides and avanlanches.3、 The proposed express highway disasters frequently occur as result of structures and tectonics、topography、human activities and climate changes,so we cannot base on single factor as yardstick.Geological environment is an open and complicated system, so the single reason cannot lead to geological disasters...
