Datuo encampment is located in Muli county of Sichuan province as the administration and living place for the erectors of Jinping Hydropower Station. This area was often attacked by geological hazards such as landslide, devolution and debris flow.Based on the geological origin, this thesis makes a profound analysis of terrain succession and stability of the site, and deploys the study on geo-hazards and potential geo-hazards in the site. The research on mechanism of terrain succession of the site, formation mechanism and characteristic of landslides and creeping wastes in the site, formation mechanism, fatalness and remedial measure of geo-hazards and potential geo-hazards in the site is mainly carried on in this thesis.In the course of studying the thesis draws some conclusions:1.By field soil investigation, the thesis points out that the complicated strata and groundwater distributing makes for the development of geo-hazards and potential geo-hazards in the site.2.The mechanism of riverine terrain succession is analyzed in the thesis by geological analysis method and FLAC3D soft. The result reveals that the Yalongjiang riverway around the site moved towards the right riverside twice because the Yalongjiang river near the site was choked up with colluvial soil twice. According to the analysis, the current terrain of the site comes into being with the brushfire physical and geological actions. And the numerical analysis of formative mechanism of the site shows that the slope is steady macrocosmically now.3.Based on geological analysis method and limit equilibrium method, the stability of haugh of the site is analyzed. The result shows that the haugh is steady macrocosmically and it is mainly affected by groundwater.4.Based on geological analysis method, limit equilibrium method and FLAC3D soft, the creepage mechanism and stability of landslides and creeping wastes in the site are analyzed. Accorading to the analysis, the thesis points out that the stability of landslides and creeping wastes is mostly influenced by groundwater.5.In terms of geological factors, the fatalness degree of landslides is compartmentalized with three levels: high degree, mid-degree and low degree. And in the area most landslides belong to the mid-degree. And then the standard of stability degree is founded. According to the standard, the site is divided into three parts: part I , part II, part III. For it affects the building and administration of Datuo encampment severely than any other parts, part I shoud be chief taken some measures.6.Through the study of slope’s prevention and cure engineering, the thesis puts forward an integrative control scheme, "surface drainage engineering and slide-resistant engineering and bank protection work". Then the scheme is designed and it can reach the aim of radical prevention and cure to geo-hazards and potential geo-hazards in the site.
