The South Yellow Sea Basin is a shallow continental shelf in the northern of China, water depth is less than 60 meter, an area of about 30×104km2, which is the only one without breakthrough in oil and gas in china, from north to south it can be divided into five number structural units, including Qianliyan uplift, Yantai depression, Laoshan uplift, Qingdao depression and Wunansha uplift.Seismic attribute technology can extract useful information hidden in seismic data, recently seismic attribute application used in exploration and production is one of the most common geophysical methods. from 60s to now have done a lot of gravity and magnetic, seismic, drilling works, but seismic attribute application on sedimentary environment analysis in this place is still relatively empty .This thesis use seismic attribute to analyse characteristics and distribution of sedimentary in South Yellow Sea Basin, which is significant in oil and gas exploration.This thesis is based on previous research, proposed accurately well tie, by extract single-time-window wavelet, combined with velocity analysis and integrated geophysics; then seismic interpretation , the seismic is divided into various seismic groups and establish seismic sequence; on the interpretation have seismic attribute extraction in the target sequence, seismic attributes correlation analyse, optimize, systematic analysis of the lithology-sensitive seismic attributes, combined with information on core and outcrop , analyse each target sequence deposition environment, and got the facies distribution. Finally, combined with geochemical analysis, core data and outcrop data analyse the distribution and compose characteristics of source bed, reservoir bed, capping bed.Synthetic seismograms by extracting multi-time-window seismic wavelet is fit with actual seismic record, which is better than extract single-time-window wavelet, extract multi-time-window seismic wavelet is accord with upper and lower formation with different frequency. The South Yellow Sea Basin rocks are relatively sensitive seismic attributes including arc length, average energy, energy half time, correlation length, average SNR and thickness. Which can show the distribution of sand and mud,water energy,the continuity of facie distribution,seismic quality and layers thickness.Base on seismic attribute analyse,combined with logging data,core data and land area data, divede the regional and layer of source rock,reservoir and cap rock formation in South Yellow Sea Basin.The optimum source rocks mainly in Permian Longtan - Tai Lung Group,Lower Permian Qixia,lower Silurian and lower Cambrian shogunate hill Group;The optimum reservoir in Qinglong formation’s platform facies of oolitic limestone,upper Permian in Laoshan fault uplift zone’s delta facies; Optimum cover in Qinglong slope - shelf facies’s continuous limestone, Longtan–Dalong’s shelf facies, lower Silurian Gaojiabian and lower Cambrian mufushan’s shelf facies.
