The mid-southern segment of Da Hinggan Mountains is located at Southeastern Inner Mongolia, which is an important part of Da Hinggan Ling - Taihang Mountain deep fracture zone and tectonic-magmatic active region in Yanshanian.The area is located at the supperimposed, composite and transformed portion, where the Mesozoic NNE-stretching tectonic domain of the global Circum-Pacific belt strongly superimposed the Paleozoic E-W-stretching tectonic domain of the Paleo-Asian Ocean, which is an important copper polymetallic ore-depsit-concentrated area in China. The working area is located at west slope in the mid segment of Da Hinggan Mountains, Western border with the Mongolian People’s Republic, with a poor natural economic geography condition and low level research about geology and mineral resources.Structure features developed in the working area, mainly are faults. However, due to the high vegetation cover, thick of residual slope deposits and serious cover of Quaternary, relying solely on field geological survey, structural features on the surface is difficult to find. In view of this, this paper based on field geological survey, using GIS for the multi-information processing platform to joint interpretation of geophysical exploration, remote sensing, geochemical anomaly information, in order to identify the basic types of local structure and the shape and size of the main structure. On the basis of previous date and reference of regional geotectonic setting of the study area, the control effect of faults , folds and other tectonic movements on the sedimentation, magmatic activity, mineralizing alteration ,mineralization can be studied, the location and distribution of ore bodies can .also be studied. The control of rocks and minerals related to regional structure may be found out.Ultimately, based on comprehensive analysis of previous research results, the regional structural framework can be established preliminarily, the relation of different stages of superimposition of structural and evolutional sequence can be investigated, and regional tectonic evolution sequence can be built. At last, the favorable ore-forming area is predicted.
