Remote sensing was developed in the 1960s as a information collecting technology which based on the aerial photograph. There are 400 years from the original unrecord ground remote sensing, to the record RS, then from the aerial RS, to the current spaceflight RS. The information process in remote sensing is developed in digitallization, visualization, Intelligence. But the current process with RS information can not meet the demand of the users. Some one estimates that the collected data in spatial RS which is processed by the computer is less than 5%. The process with RS information is the key of RS’s development.Because of the different spectral reflection factor in different objects, there can be a possible to combine the RS and prospect together. In the recent years, some geological specialist and RS specialist’s research in spectral character and image process technology with some alternation minerals like chlorite, kaolinite and iron-bearing altered minerals, that really accelerates the development of geology remote sensing.There is plant-coveraged in Inner Mongolia, although it’s easy to get the lithology and alternation information through field perambulation, the difficulty is not only the much manpower and resource, but also the large data and statistics for big project which covers large area. Remote Sensing get the aerial image from a plane or satellite, it can cover larger area and is not easy to be obstructed by landform. Remote Sensing is instantaneous imaging, so it can get the real-time information of a large area, then compared with the pre-image.This paper uses the advantages of IDL(Interface Definition Language) in processing enormous data, develops a program based on the commercial software, it’s also a template, which will be easy to modify the code to meet the feature application’s demand. The main function of this program contains the image pre-process function and the information extract function, the former contrains 3 subfuntions such as image package, image rotation and format exchange. The latter contrains iron-bearing information extract, montmorillonite information extract and chlorite information extract. This program depends on the ENVI’s lib, but it is much easier to use and more concise in UI(User Interface).
