Wearbility And Product Development Of Bast Fabric

The bast fiber is a kind of green and environmental nature fibers. Our country has a rich resources of hemp fibers. Nowadays, as people’s consumption concept towards hemp fibers to make clothes is changing, and just under such consumption background, making textiles and clothes by the hemp fabrics will be the leading streams of fashion, especially the fabrics made of flax、ramie and China-Hemp(a kind of a similar plant). However, because of the disadvantages of the hemp fabrics are as conspicuous as its advantages; the exploration of the hemp fabrics making clothes is much limited. So, the study of wearability and Product Development of Bast-fabric has practical application value.Firstly, through access to a large number of domestic and foreign literature, this paper analyzes the structural features of three types of hemp fiber and studys the appearance of three types of hemp fabric style characteristics and wearability. Then, for the purpose of providing some basis for apparel product development of different types. Meanwhile, analysis the development of the main factors about restricting the three types of hemp fabric clothing.Which is difficult to stain, Prickle and feel rough is a major constraint, so as to three types of hemp fabric clothing product development to provide guidance.Secondly, the paper purchases linen, ramie, China-hemp, and tests itsthickness, weight, density, permeability, moisture permeability and other performance indicators, and conducted a clothing product development and design about three types of hemp fabric. Then, designed programs that have been developed subjective and objective test products clothes clothing comfort evaluation. Experimental evaluation of a subjective including feeling hot, sticky somatosensory, Prickle, cold and warm feeling, soft feel and overall comfort of the six indicators; objective experiments include:thermal manikin tests of clothing thermal resistance, heart and lung function testing instrument physiological indicators, clothing under the temperature and humidity values.Finally, by SPSS and other related mathematical analysis software, analysis the subjective and objective experimental data, and analyzed and discussed the related experimental results.In this paper, by studying Wearability and Product Development of Bast-fabric, draw the relevant conclusions of the study as following:in the three types of hemp fiber, the stiffness and feel the most hard, single-fiber length of the longest and strongest intensity is ramie; in three types of hemp fabric appearance style, China-hemp fabrics is thin, ramie fabric is thick, linen fabric is stiffness. The objective and subjective results show that:the cold and warm sense of feeling hot, soft feeling is ramie garment, Prickle are the worst sense of well-being is linen garments, soft feeling the best sense of hot, sticky body sense of the best Prickle is the China-hemp clothing. In the thermal resistance experiments, the same kinds of styles of the comparison of different fabrics, thermal resistance of linen clothing is relatively low; in the same kinds of fabrics in different styles of comparison, thermal resistance of short-sleeved linen clothing is minimum, because of its clothes covered by its smaller size. Through analysis the heart and lung function parameters, under changes in temperature and humidity values shows that clothes made of China-hemp fabric is relatively good comfort.
