Sucrose, one of the green natural food, is recycled and renewable. Meanwhile, it is a kind nutrient substance providing high heat for human body. Known as the king of antitumoral microelements, selenium is the necessary trace elements in human body. With the characteristics of sucrose and selenium, sucrose selenite transforms the toxicant inorganic selenium to the bioactive organic selenium.In this paper, the organic selenium compounds, sucrose selenite have been synthetized, having better biological activities. The selenium content of the sucrose selenite has reached 13.0% through the UV test. The structure characteristics of the sucrose selenite have been determined basicly through comprehensive analysis of the infrared and 13CNMR.Then, the MTT colorimetric method experiment shows that the sucrose selenite inhibits effectively the HeLa cells breeding. In the same concentration, the features of the apoptotic cells after adding the sucrose selenite to the cell lines, are watched by the cell morphology observation, moreover, the function of the sucrose selenite is better the sodium selenite. The agarose gel electrophoresis experiment demonstrates the SMMC cells have the obvious DNA gradient strips under the action of the sucrose selenite. The phenomenon illustrates that the sucrose selenite induce the cells apoptosis distinctly.In conclusion, using the method above, trehalose and raffinose selenite, oligosaccharides selenite with the similar structure, have been synthetized, and we made some structural analysises and biological activity tests, They have better bioactivities.
