Eight chapters are included in this paper. The first is reviewed the relationship betweentrace element and human health within milk and Chinese medicinal herbs, and the contents, the approach and steps of health risk assessment. Moreover, it summarized the progress inelectric adsorption separation of metal ions, and analysed the testing progress, the uncertaintyof results, the basic methods and the steps.Chapter2determined several elements include (potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, zinc, iron, copper, manganese, nickel, chromium, cadmium, lead) in different bands of puremilk adopted the wet digestion-flame atomic absorption spectrometry and graphite furnaceatomic absorption. We compared the content of different milk, the result showed the diversityare existed in different samples.Chapter3evaluated the health risks assessment in a number of milk bands, in order toclarify the effects of metal ions in the human health, and determined the test procedure andthe uncertainty of the results.Chapter4analyzed the health risks assessment of heavy metal in Chinese medicinalherbs, tested the concentration of heavy metal and evaluated the health risks, in order toclarify the effect of heavy metal to human health.Chapter5is electroadsorption to remove heavy metal ions in the milk. We compared themetal element contents in the milk before and after adsorption. The result manifest that underthe action of the electric adsorption unit, a large number of element to be transferred or absorb, and may play a certain roles in the removal of part of the heavy metal elements.Chapter6is the electricity adsorption to remove heavy metal ions in traditional Chinesemedicinal decoction. The result indicated that electrosorption devices could absorb or transferthe heavy metal element, especially in lead and chromium. In addition, we investigated thefeasibility of electrosorption to remove heavy metal ions in the Chinese herbal decoction.Chapter7and8analysed the uncertainty sources of the concentrations of heavy metalions in different bands through atomic absorption method, accurately reflect the confidenceand accuracy of assessment, and may pave the way to determine the concentration of heavymetals accurately.
