The project mainly studies on large penetration depth electron beamwelding of compact hanging and Thin walled cylinder. The projectachieved the complete interface connection with electron beam welding oflarge penetration depth, which have changed phenomenon that hangingand Thin walled cylinder connected by argon-arc welding just with aroundweld.In initial period process, engineering research has formed the basicwelding structure of hanging, has established the basic parameters debugprocess, has found the welding performance of large penetration depthelectron beam welding of compact hanging and Thin walled cylinder, hasbuilt the good foundation for the later period technical application.In the later period technical application process, We have done themassive work in many aspect based on the technique in the early, Forexample the angle positioning of hanging, the arc starting and end of largepenetration depth electron beam welding, deformation control of weld.After the welding to technical specifications and so on welded jointoutward appearance shell roundness, welded joint internal quality hascarried on the examination analysis. The welding quality has achieved thedesign and the process indicators.In a word, after this research, From hanging welding technology toprocess, and the weld joints performance has make the considerableprogress. The successful application of technology has changed theoriginal proposal of the processing method for processing routes, hasimproved the quality of the processing, has simplified the technical process.
