| In order to solve small parts of mass production in highly speed and efficient manufacturing way, modern manufacturing way is often using the cross-sectional shapes of the wire straightening, composed of a fixture feeding to a NC special purpose machine for automatic manufacture. This paper developed a NC drilling and cutting special purpose machine used for watchband’s parts metal processing. This machine adopt stainless steel special shaped wire for blanks, for hole drilling and wire cutting process, and complete the automatic mass production. Due to the difficulty of processing in material of stainless steel and special shaped wire varieties, complex characteristic, automatic manufacturing in special shaped wire stainless steel has become the key in developing of the paper. Now the domestic metal watchband manufacture companies mostly are using the traditional process way of manufacture, which has a low production and efficiency, high labor intensity, high processing cost and parts quality is not stable. Companies are eager to improve the processing problems. The NC, automation processing equipment is one of the best ways to solve such problems.On the basis of investigation, identified the plane layout scheme design and the engineering drawing design, selected the appropriate electrical control program, until the completion of prototype machine manufacturing and debugging. Finally, this machine has achieved the desired effect. The main research contents include:1. According to the characteristics of the difficult processing of the stainless steel, completing in the research of deep study of the status at domestic and foreign in manufacture machine of stainless steel special shaped wire. This paper adopts the conceptual design of electromechanics systems to get the optimal program layout of subject program.2. According to drilling force of trial and analysis, selecting suitable electric spindle for the subject; using theoretical calculations and virtual prototyping to select the servo feed worktable; Using Solidworks3D design software in design of machine and engineering sketch etc.; the use of laser interferometer to measure the servo table’s displacement accuracy, and analyze the impact factor of the error; design special pneumatic fixture for special-shaped wire.3. Adopting PLC electrical control system. Accomplish the control system hardware circuit design, PLC software development and HMI design work.4. Research on drilling wear monitoring techniques. After domestic and intern ational status analysis, this paper selects the current monitoring method as the subject in drill wear monitoring method, and initially launched the related technical studies. |
