In order to ensure sustainable development of china’s economy, it isnecessary to promote the coordination of population, natural resource andenvironment; the problems concerning population growth, waste pollutionand resource overuse must be properly solved. China is one of the biggestproducing countries of energy source and waste material. On the one handof ecological environment, waste material has been considered aspollution resource; on the other hand it is also the unique growingpotential recourse on earth. With rapid growth of economy, China is facingdual pressure caused by energy&resource shortage and environmentalprotection. Considering higher official requirement and nationaleco-awareness, it is a good way to generate electricity by using wastematerial because it would not only solve the problem of waste disposaland power shortage, but bring out economic benefits. This article ismainly about the design and feasibility study of new electricity powerplant. Methane is made by filling the waste material, and then it could beused to generate electricity power. Experiments show that the new methodwill yield both economic benefits and social benefits concerninggreenhouse gas reduction, energy saving, environmental protection andpower supply increasing.
