China is the world’s largest coal mining and utilization country. Industrial coal and civil coal account for more than75%of national energy consumption. Due to a great deal of coal combustion, a large amount of sulfur dioxide and other sulfur compounds emissions poses a great threat to our environment. Therefore, it is very important to strengthen the clean utilization of coal.This paper mainly explores the oxidant to removal sulfur from coal. The main contents are:first, conduct oxidative desulfurization of coal by various oxidant, investigate the influence of factors such as coal particle size, concentration, reaction temperature, reaction time, and acid-base strength on the desulfurization rate, and select ion solution with better desulfurization effect for the next step of research; second, use oxidant selected by the last experiment to conduct oxidation desulfurization of coal, and investigate the influence of microwave power, microwave irradiation time on the removal efficiency; third, make complex of oxidant, study the influence of factors such as best solution concentration, reaction temperature, reaction time, acid-base strength on the desulfurization rate, and investigate the influence of power of microwave radiation, microwave radiation time on desulfurization efficiency with the aid of microwave.This paper explored the influence of single oxidant, composite oxidant and microwave on desulfurization efficiency by experiments and analysis,and compared desulfurization rates of single oxidant and composite oxidant, with or without the aid of microwave, thus obtained the best solution to remove the sulfur in coal by ion solution.
