With China’s rapid economic development, infrastructure construction in China isbecoming more and more perfect, the quality requirements are increasingly high. In orderto adapt to the changing a big steel country to a powerful nation, the domestic steelindustry in the structure adjustment of constant. Heavy plate as an important steel products,expanding the scope of application, the user quality requirements of the wide and heavyplate has been improved. In the face of fierce market competition, focus on thedevelopment of heavy plate pursuit shifting from pursuit of quantity to quality. Heavyplate is one of the important quality indexes of plate shape, so the heavy plate rollinggenerally have strong straightening to improve the quality of strip shape.Take a new generation11-roller hot plate leveler for example, the paper identifiedanalytical model of hot plate leveling, and simulated the hot plate leveling process withthe method of FEM to get a better leveling scheme. Main contents of the paper areintroduced below:Introduces the working principle and the straightening roller straightener straightprogram; in the reasonable assumptions, plate in the event of elastic-plastic bending stressand strain relations, as well as plate shot geometric relationship between plasticdeformation and curvature in straightening process based on; determine the calculatingmethod of straightening force and the plate is not pingdu.For wide and heavy plate hot straightening machine straightening process weresimulated using the finite element analysis software MSC.Marc, analyzes the distributionof material in the process of straightening force and stress, residual stress and the stress ofplate flatness condition; Aiming at the non bending straightening straight machine and rollbending straightening machine models are established, and the calculation and analysis,research in different roll crown, stress plate straightness and the residual deformation andthe plate after; Final analysis of the influence of plate straightness and the residual stressand its effect factors, and provide a theoretical basis for the practical production of widethick plate straightening process.
