The laser melting deposition of TA15titanium alloy with the high structural stabilityat indoor temperature and elevated temperature, but structural parts with uniformmicrostructure and excellent performance are difficult to be obtained during the process ofcold deformation. Therefore, it is essential to research globularization behavior of TA15titanium alloys and grain refinement to realize the control of microstructure andperformance during the deformation at room temperature.Investigated on the effect of unidirectional scanning pattern and weaving scanningpattern on microstructure and properties of laser melting deposition forming TA15titanium alloy. Results show that the the tensile properties of TA15alloy formed byweaving scanning pattern are superior to that of TA15alloy fabricated by undirectionalscanning pattern and the grain significantly enhanced. The elongation of as-depositedTA15titanium alloy by scanning pattern forming below annealing worgings’.The tensileproperties with horizontal direction and elevation direction of TA15alloy are better thanthat of the wrought annealed TA15alloy after the heat treatment.The influences on globularization behavior of TA15titanium alloy with the lasermelting deposition forming in different deformation at room temperature, the annealingtemperature, annealing time were researched by quantitative metallographic observation,scanning electron microscopes and microhardness. The results indicate that the percent ofglobularization primary α phase increases with the increasing of deformation within limitsand annealing temperature and prolonging annealing time. The effect to increase thepercent of globularization primary α phase, deformation degree is more important thanannealing temperature. To extend annealing time, reduce annealing temperature withinappropriate heat treatment for the alloy of same deformation also can make staticrecrystallization completely.Lastly, investigated the static recrystallization kinetics behavior on deformationmicrostructure of TA15titanium alloy preliminary. It is concluded that with the increasingof the deformation recrystallization activation can showed a trend of decrease.
