In recent years, the research on the high absorbent resin has been continuing,Superabsorbent polymer material is polymer, through solution polymerization andemulsion polymerization, an initiator produced by radical polymerization, thepolymerization can form a network structure by crosslinker, the material can absorb alot of water even a large amount of solutions due to the network structure, because ofthe advantages of the high absorbent resin in terms of water absorption and retentionability, they have a broad application prospects. Along with the strategy of westerndevelopment and gradual importance of our national agriculture, the demand ofsuperabsorbent material, not only the production but also the quality, above all, theresearch on high absorbent resin is important and meaningful.The first part of the experiment for the aqueous solution of polyacrylic acidsodium synthesis and performance research, Sodium polyacrylate has broadapplication, in the experiment, the amount of polymer in an aqueous solution ofsodium polyacrylate as the target, potassium persulfate and ethylenediamine asinitiator, N,N’-methylene-bis-acrylamide as crosslinker, aqueous solution of sodiumacrylate polymerization process, investigate the degree of neutralization, initiatorratio, crosslinker, initiator concentration on water absorption and water retentionabilities, studies have show that the amount of the acrylic monomer is20g, theamount of potassium persulfate initiator is0.18%, initiator ratio is2:1, the amount ofcrosslinker is0.02%, the sodium polyacrylate has a higher absorption rate, and hasgood water continued absorption ability.The second part in this experiment for agar、sodium acrylamide superabsorbentcomposite material synthesis and research, potassium persulfate and sodium hydrogensulfite as a redox initiator, N,N’-methylene-bis-acrylamide as crosslinker, The poly(sodium acrylate-acrylamide)/agar-modified super absorbent composite material wasprepared by aqueous solution polymerization. The influence factors to the absorbancy,which included agar amount, crosslinker, initiator, mass ratio of two monomers andreaction temperature were investigated. And the dosage of agar and acrylamide content on the influence of liquid absorption rate of linear regression analysis,repeated liquid absorption performance on the material and the different salt liquidabsorption performance was tested in the study. The results show that the absorbancyof the composite to water is1150g/g and0.9%NaCl solution is88g/g. In a certainrange, the mass fraction of acrylamide monomer to the total quality are moreimportant influence on liquid absorption rate, the material has good repeated liquidabsorption performance and salt resistance.
