CdS with excellent electrical and opticalproperties is one of the II–VI semiconducting materials having a2.42eV band gap at roomtemperature. In this paper, nanocelluloses were used as matrices to prepare nanocellulose/CdS nanocomposites by a controllable sonochemical in-situ process. The nanocellulose/CdS nanocomposites show good photoelectricity. The feasibility of nanocellulose/CdSnanocomposites as the main components of photoelectric ink for screen-printing is studied. It is significant to develop applications of nanocellulose and take full advantage of thephotoelectric property of CdS quantum dots. The nanocelluloses with different content of carboxyl group were firstly prepared byTEMPO/NaBr/NaClO oxidation combined with ultrasonic wave treatment. Then CdSnanoparticles were compounded to the nanocellulose matriced by an in-situ method. TheCdS quantum dots were prepared by controlling the molar ratio of COO-to Cd2+. Thenanocellulose/CdS nanocomposites with excellent photoelectric property were obtained. The structure, morphology and photoelectric property of nanocellulose/CdS compositeswere characterized by fourier transformed infrared (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD),canning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), universaltensile machine and electrochemical workstation. The rheological behavior ofnanocomposites solution was studied and characterized by a rheometer. Finally, thenanocellulose/CdS composites solution was applied to the screen-printing and the printedpattern was obtained. The photoluminescence of pattern was characterized by cofocal laserscanning microscopy (CLSM). The results show that:1. The oxidation of the TEMPO/NaBr/NaClO system was of high efficiency and thedegradation reaction occured severely. The nanocellulose with width of3-5nm wasprepared.2. By using nanocelluloses with different content of carboxyl group as matrices, thenanocellulose/CdS composites with controllable crystal size of CdS quantum dots and controllable photoelectric property were prepared by controlling the the molar ratio of COO-to Cd2+. The crystal size of CdS quantum dots was in the range of8.33nm and17.66nm.The photocurrent of nanocellulose/CdS composites was high up to2μA.3. The nanocellulose/CdS composites solution can be applied to screen-printing. TheCdS nanoparticles with excellent photoelectric property were compounded tonanocelluloses as ink pigment. The nanocellulose/CdS composites can disperse well in thegreen solvent of water. The suspension is stable and has good fluidity. The pattern of thescreen-printing is clear with smooth surface. And the strong light-induced fluorescence ofthe pattern is observed by CLSM. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | nanocellulose, CdS quantum dots, ink, photoelectric property | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
