The original wastewater treatment of Panjin Northern Asphalt Co. Ltd. constructed in1994-1997, as the company’s main unit twice expansion and two hydrogenation unit putinto use, and the company’s wastewater will be performed Liaoning Province where the new"integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard"(DB21/1627-2008), the existing wastewatertreatment is difficult to meet the new standards. Therefore, the original wastewatertreatment process must make the necessary transformation to improve the effluent to meetthe new standards.In this paper, study on the technical transformation of Panjin Northern Asphalt Co. Ltdwastewater treatment. In the full use of existing wastewater treatment facilities, theapplication of new technology, suit the measures to local conditions, comprehensiveconsideration of the principles. Before the technological transformation of the wastewatertreatment for water indicators important COD indicators are not up to current standards.In-depth analysis of the original process specific physicochemical, biochemical and depth ofthe unit and the reasons for the problems, it is recommended for each unit processoptimization, and proposes concrete reform measures. Through this technical transformation,the wastewater treatment capacity is greatly improved, so that the water stability of thecompany to Liaoning province where the "integrated wastewater discharge standard"(DB21/1627-2008). The important indicators of water in the COD indicators from the technicaltransformation in front of120-180mg/L down to after the technical transformationcompletion of50mg/L.This technical transformatio follow to enhance physical and chemical treatment,improve biochemical treatment, development trends of petrochemical wastewater treatmenttechnology of advanced treatment facilities. The process of adjustment and optimization ofthe original processing facilities, optimizing the physicochemical treatment period of theoriginal: the new oil separation tank, increasing the water quality regulating tank, reoptimization of two stage air floatation device; the abolition of the biochemical treatmentdevice of the original: the hydrolysis acidification pool increased in the biochemical process,improves the the biodegradability of wastewater, the A/O process prior to CAST process; alteration of the depth of wastewater treatment process: the adoption of new technology--the O3+BAF, further removal of effluent COD, drainage standard of security and part ofwaste water can be recycled to the circulating water treatment system and to determine theoptimal ozone dosage25mg/L. Adding coagulation blue beauty pull the sedimentationtank, as a control unit. Using a large number of wastewater treatment in petrochemicalenterprises of new technology, new technology.Through this transformation, enterprises will realize part of wastewater reuse, wastewater200t per hour, most of this waste water as make up water for circulating water reuse.
