With the rapid development and progress of economy and science, human for thedestruction of nature was becoming more and more serious, especially the heavy metalspollution in water.This article selected heavy metal elements in xikuangshan mine stormwater runoff as theresearch object. In the study the anodic stripping voltammetry were applied in thedetermination of heavy metal element content in the mining area rainwater runoff. Comparingtwo kinds of heavy metal element detection method:the one is atomic fluorescencespectrophotometry and the other is atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Then someadvantages of the anodic stripping voltammetry were found such as short test time, highprecision, good accuracy, convenient, fast efficient. The results as follows:1、 The best conditions of anodic stripping voltammetry had been decided through somedeep studies an experiments: enrichment of selecting time was200s; enrichment of potentialwas1.0V; rest time was30s; the scanning speed was8mv/s; the electrolyte selected aceticacid solution; coating solution concentration was200mg/L.2、Compared the three methods of analysis (anodic stripping voltammetry, atomicfluorescence spectrophotometry, atomic absorption spectrophotometry) of measurementresults and experimental study, which indicated that the anodic stripping voltammetrydetermination of the cycle was15min, the precision was0.3%, standard addition recoverieswere98.5%~98.5%; Atomic fluorescence spectrophotometry determination of cycle was20min, precision was0.9%, standard addition recoveries were96.0%~104.0%; Atomicabsorption spectrophotometry in the determination of cycle was17min, precision was1.6%,standard addition recoveries were96.0%~103.0%.To sum up, anodic stripping voltammetryin the detection of heavy metals was in short test time, high precision, good accuracy,convenient, fast, efficient, low detection limit and higher sensitivity.3、The result of determination of heavy metal element concentrations from the miningarea rainwater runoff showed that some of the parameters of heavy metals pollution of miningarea water were more complex. As and Sb pollution were heavier in the mining area rainwaterrunoff, followed by Ni, Mn, Cd and Pb pollution and some other exist testing parameters.Reflected the characteristics of non-ferrous metal mining, especially in associated miningpollution. Compared with the Ⅴ class water, in addition to the dragon pool backfillingmining dam, As were serious exceeded, especially Po Hing creek for79.7times. From the testresults, if compared with the above standard, the water samples were serious violation,even thousands of times exceeded.
