Combined with the actual situation of the Company, following the chemicalwastewater treatment technology and methods, the treatment of hindered amine lightstabilizer industry wastewater was studied and analyzed, and effective treatmentswere used on different type of wastewater, such as separation, distillation, oxidationand incineration. Above methods reduced the environmental impact of wastewater,and the collection, transformation and reuse of the steam exhaust and circulatingcooling water achieved certain results in energy conservation and emission reduction.Hindered amine light stabilizer wastewater according to calorific value can bedivided into two categories, a kind of wastewater contained organic matter, which isthe main compounds containing carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen. The incinerationapproach, could carry out the recovery and utilization of waste heat, and waste gasand incineration could meet the discharge standards after simple treatment. Not onlythe amount of wastewater treatment was greatly reduced, the impact on theenvironment was reduced to the lowest point. In this paper, the incineration processon the kind of wastewater was studied and designed combined with the company’sactual, which achieved obvious benefits after put into operation.The wastewater of low calorific value, according to the characteristics of varioustypes of wastewater, was respectively pretreated by centrifugal separation, filtrationand concentration. The wastewater that did not meet the standard was treated byhigh-temperature wet oxidation, then mixed with the sewage through biologicaloxidation treatment, eventually reached the emission standard. After this process,valuable organic and inorganic salts were recovered, and recycling value was greaterthan the cost of processing. The above process achieved the purpose of self-digestionsystem.
