As the environmental problem is getting worse, the research for rapid, Low-cost organicpollutant retreatment method is becoming a necessity in environment field. Recently,Advanced Oxidation Processes has a large potentially used in retreatment of organic pollutant.Plasma Technology as one part of the advanced oxidation processes was paid much attention, due to its advantages: gather optical, electrical and chemical processes in one, energy-efficientand no secondary pollution. In this article, the typical needles-plate electrode structure was used to produce plasmafor control organic pollutant MO, there are two parts in the experiment: one is utilizing highvoltage pulse generator which was developed independently to treatment MO contaminatedwater, another is using the needles-plate corona discharge, which is used above to repair MOcontaminated soil. The study is to investigate the impact factors on MO degradation, as areference role for following research work, and the main results are summarized as follows:(1) Study the effect of MO wastewater treated by needle-plate pulse plasma discharge.Investigate several factors that impact on the degradation of MO wastewater, as dischargevoltage, Initial capacitance, PH of the solution and TiO2films with different thicknesses.About96%of MO could be degradation after10min under discharge voltage13kV,frequency240r/min, discharge capacitance27nF, discharge-gap5mm, pH2. The degradationrate will increase with the raise of high discharge voltage. With the voltage increasing, theenergy and the amount of active ion that was injected in reactor would increase; Acidicconditions and low initial concentration is more conducive to the degradation of MO;Efficiency has a great improve when the TiO2was added in.(2) Study the effect of MO contaminated soil repair by needle-plate pulse plasmadischarge. Investigate factors that impact on the degradation of MO contaminated soil, asdischarge voltage, Soil moisture, Ventilation and Amount of TiO2added. The result showedthat high voltage pulse discharge plasma technology has effect for MO contaminated soilrepair. About95%of MO could be degradation after30min under discharge voltage7kV, frequency240r/min, discharge gap4mm, moisture content is100%. The input power willincrease with the higher discharge voltage, simultaneously it will enhance the degradation rateof MO contaminated soil; While keeping normal ventilation, it could achieve a good effect; As the soil moisture raised, the effect of soil degradation of MO upgrade from48%to94%;The efficiency of degradation of MO contaminated soil has a great improve when the TiO2was added in.Better degradation of the organic pollutants MO which contaminated in the water andsoil treated by high voltage pulse generator provides an important basis for the plasmatechnology applied in the field of environmental pollution control.
