Water resources protection and management have received universal attention allover the world, on-line water quality testing equipment is an important technical meansto comprehensively reflect the water quality and pollution status. Therefore, theresearch in real-time fast, micro-miniature, high performance multi-parameter waterquality detecting instruments has become the hot spot of domestic and internationalresearch and received the attention of our Chinese government.According to the overall design demand of multi-parameter water quality monitorand aiming at the problems of the pre-developed multi-parameter water quality monitormeasure and control system in the laboratory, this paper carried out design andexperiment on the measurement and control system of multi-parameter water qualitymonitor based on ARM. Based on studying the research situation and analyzing theproblems of water quality monitor, this paper puts forward a overall optimized projectof the integrated control system based on S3C2410A as the core. It optimizes the flowcontrol system, sample reaction control system and hardware platform ofmulti-parameter water quality monitor, realizes the function of self-checking.Completing debug each module of the system, setting up a system testing platform, andcompleting the machine alignment debugging and application experiment test research.The experimental results prove that it basically reaches the requirement of practicaltechnology.The main work is as follows:①Based on analyzing the status of the multi-parameter water quality monitor,aiming at the existing problems of the monitor control system previously developed bythe laboratory, a overall optimized project of the integrated control system based onARM of multi-parameter water quality monitor had been determined;②According to analyzing the problems of the original water quality detectorcontrol system deeply, and the integrated control system scheme based on ARM hadbeen proposed. Then systematic study of the flow system, sample reaction system,self-checking system, hardware platform and so on had been carried out;③The integrated control of the multi-parameter water quality monitor had beenachieved on ARM as the core. To satisfy the sample processing requirements beforereaction of the instrument, the online chemical samples re-treatment control system had been optimized, which integrates cleaning, mixing and constant temperature control.The flow switching circuit, the cleaning and mixing control circuit and the constanttemperature control circuit had been optimized and the self-checking circuit had beendesigned;④This paper completed the debugging of the hardware circuit, tested the powersystem and the control of DC pump, three channels solenoid valve, the ultrasonic, lightsource and so on, set up a system testing platform, completed the machinecommissioning/debugging, and accomplished the contrastive test of sample precision,cleaning effect and the concentration of sexivalent chromium’s test experiment.
