Dongping Lake as the main regulation of lake for the east line of South to NorthWater Diversion Project, and the water source from West to East in Shandong province, itroles important in water resources allocation strategy in China. By monitoring DongpingLake on the physical and chemical indicators, the water quality and nutrition status wereanalyzed using principal component analysis and comprehensive nutrition state indexmethod. Analyzed the surface sediment phosphorus distribution, identification of surfacesediment diatom, the distribution for diatoms, it revealed the relationship between diatomand water environment status. Based on the research above, the main conclusion asfollowing:(1) A total of43diatom species belonging to16genera were indentified from LakeDongping in Shangdong Province, mainly epiphytic and planktonic species. Synedra,Fragilaria had certain instruction significance for a low phosphorus concentrations (<100μ g/L), these species occupies certain proportion inDongping Lake, so in some extent thatthe current status of Dongping lake had not reached the level of eutrophication.(2) From the distribution of diatom space, it can be seen that samples were divided intothree areas. I area for the lake periphery cage culture area, Fragilaria, Synedra speciesmainly suitable for adequate light, greater transparency of water and II region with a fisheating Potamogeton malaianus and other biological populations, it showed that the waterquality was better, the aquatic well developed in this area.(3) The overall water quality analysis showed the spring and summer seasons wereinferior V, autumn and winter seasons were III. Each sampling point water quality analysisshowed: DP1, DP2, DP3water quality was gradeⅠ; DP11, DP14, DP15, DP16, DP20,DP21, DP30, DP32sampling points were a certain distance from the region, the waterquality was III. DP4-DP9, DP22-DP29region were IV, V.(4) Analysis of comprehensive nutrition state index showed Dongping Lake was nutritionalstatus, consistented with the diatoms species distribution revealing lake nutrient states.(5) It can be seen from the distribution characteristics of phosphorus forms: the phosphorus insediments were mainly inorganic phosphorus, inorganic phosphorus were mainly from calcium phosphate. TP had obvious correlation with IP, HCl-P (P <0.01), a certaincorrelation with the OP (P <0.05), there was a negative correlation between HCl-P andNaOH-P, a larger correlation with IP; HCl-P was the main source of inorganic phosphorusin Lake Sediments. NaOH-P was significantly and positively correlated with OP, indicatingthat organic phosphorus has effect on the Fe/Al-P content.(6) The RDA analysis showed that pH, depth and the total phosphoruswere the main factoraffecting for Dongping Lake diatom assemblages change. The Monte Carlo test showed: ineach sampling point for Dongping Lake TP(F=1.94,P=0.042),pH(F=2.76,P=0.008) anddepth(F=1.81,P=0.054)were significant factors affecting diatom assemblages. Itexplained33.8%of the total diatom assemblages between species and environmentalvariability and91.4%of the cumulative percent variables.
