Malignant tumor is a greatly hazardous disease to our health, early accuratediagnosis or early effective treatment is always the best principle to rescue patients’survival. Seeking for an effective tumor targeted system is one of the hottest topics inthe tumor early diagnosis. Traditional therapeutic drugs treated cancer but meanwhiledamaged normal tissue, which results in treatment effect decrease and caused adversereactions. The target delivery of chemotherapeutics is one of the main orientationsand a very active field of research in the development of the treatment strategies toimprove target of drugs. The key issue is the preparation of the carrier agent. We needto find a carrier who own low toxic effects to normal tissues and good diagnosticeffects. The drug carrier will be accompanied by the bloodstream to various organs, which greatly reduces the concentration in the tumor, then get a bad treatment. Weneed the drug can target to tumor, making the drug carrier own high accumulation inthe tumor. In this article we will prepare the special drug carrier with targetedfunctionality through linked drugs with targeting function to the drug carrier. This paper consists of four chapters as follow:Chapter1: ReviewsChapter2: Synthesis, characterization and in vitro evaluation of tumor targetingN (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide copolymer conjugates containing folic acid andgalactose and benzaldehyde nitrogen mustard groups.Synthesis, characterization and evaluation ofN (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide copolymer conjugates containing folicacid/galactose and benzaldehyde nitrogen mustard groups for tumor targeting. Folicacid monomer, galactose monomer, benzaldehyde nitrogen mustard monomer, poly(N (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide) folic acid benzaldehyde nitrogen mustardconjugate, and poly(N (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide) galactose benzaldehydenitrogen mustard and poly(N (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide) benzaldehydenitrogen mustard were successfully synthesized and characterized.. Tumor targetingeffect was tested in HeLa cells and HepG2cells models. Chapter3: Synthesis, characterization and in vitro evaluation of tumor targetingN (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide copolymer conjugates containing fluoresceinand galactose and Rhodamine B groups.Synthesis, characterization and evaluation ofN (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide copolymer conjugates containingfluorescein/Rhodamine B and galactose groups for tumor targeting. The galactosemonomer, fluorescein monomer, Rhodamine B monomer, poly(N (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide) galactose fluorescein conjugate, poly(N (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide) galactose Rhodamine B conjugate, poly(N (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide) fluorescein conjugate andpoly(N (2hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide) Rhodamine B conjugate weresuccessfully synthesized and characterized. Tumor targeting effect was tested inHepG2cells models.
