It is an indemnification for the mine production safety that the hoist process is safe andreliable, and it is also very important for the committee-ship of the orbit. There are various kindsof typical faults of guide, such as bead weld cracking, step raised, long abrasion, curvedeformation and skewness. It’s very important to distinguish the failure type and locate as well asevaluate the condition of the guide process because the monitor distance is long and the types ofthe excitation for failure are various. This paper adopts the method of indirect detection for thevertical steel guide main shaft skip hoist system because the direct detection of the guideinfluences the normal hoist process and is inefficient. This method determines the type of failureby the typical influence curve and uses simplified model of source of failure as source ofexcitation for the system. The hardware testing platform has been set up and the vibrationacceleration signals were collected at such four conditions: half speed heavy load, full speedheavy load, half speed empty load and full speed empty load. Then the influence of the speedand load to the output of the system model has been analyzed. The dynamic simulation model ofskip and steel rope as well as skip and steel guide has been set up. It provides the basis todistinguish the signals by analyzing the change trend of the output signal in different source ofexcitation. Finally, the overall operating condition of the steel guide is evaluated by the fuzzycomprehensive evaluation method contrary to the complicacy and diversity of the signals.Specific contents are:The calculation expressions of dynamic displacement and acceleration has been solved byusing the dynamic model of skip and longitudinal steel rope, with the help of simulating thespecific parameters of the main shaft2#of the Majialiang Coal Mine;The multi degree dynamicmodel between skip and steel guide was established and simulated to analyze the output propertyin the excitation as local raised, winding and skewness.The experimental platform was set up and the construction of the instrument was designedcontrary to the need of test.The change data of the vibration signals on the top of skip which was test on site in conditionsuch as empty load, heavy load, full speed and half speed of hoist has been compared to thesimulation data, the condition of the main shaft2#of the Majialiang Coal Mine has beenevaluated completely by using the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.
