Epoxide, a kind of heterocyclic compound, is a widely used organic compound andimportant intermediate of pharmaceutical synthesis. The products of ring opening reactionof epoxide with nucleophilic reagents, which are important organic compounds, havesignificant application in the synthesis of natural products and drugs. This thesis mainlystudied about the ring opening reaction of epoxides with nucleophilic reagents with differentcatalysts.The ring opening reaction of epoxide with phenol and thiophenol derivatives wascatalyzed by (C4H12N2)2[BiCl6]Cl·H2O at room temperature. The specific advantages of the reactions are as follow: solvent-free condition, short reaction time, simple operation, andreusability of the catalyst. Through a series of single factor experiments, the influence ofcatalysts, temperature and solvent were investigated detailedly. The optimal reactionconditions were determined. β-alkoxy alcohol and β-alkanes sulphur alcohol compoundswere synthetized and the structures of the compounds were confirmed by MS and1H NMR.A series of tertiary amine ligands were synthesized form1,2-diamino-cyclohexane viathree-step reactions: acylation reaction, reduction reaction and N-alkylation reaction. Thering opening reaction of epoxide with aniline, phenol and thiophenol derivatives wasconducted in the presence of tertiary amine and ZrCl4. The specific advantages of the reactions are as follow: short reaction time, simple operation, high yield and highregioselectivity. Through a series of single factor experiments, the influence of catalysts, theratio of materials, solvent and temperature were studied in detail. The optimal reactionconditions were determined. Then β-amino alcohol, β-alkoxy alcohol and β-alkanes sulphuralcohol compound were synthetized and the structures of the compounds were confirmed byMS and1H NMR.
