In recent years, our country has become the big country of wood products. Timberworkbuilding is more and more get the favour of people. It also put forward higher request for woodproduction technoloyg and product quality. Modular processing wood structure plays animportant role in improving the production efficiency and quality of timber. Therefore we needto develop the numerical control technology and equipment for processing modular woodstructure with independent intellectual property rights.This paper based on previous research results of calculation method of coordinatetransformation for five axis CNC machine tool, toolcompensation and interpolation erroranalysis are optimized, that make it more simple and without losing accuracy. Due to thedomestic research on wood structure modular processing is less, there is little to refer to thedocumentation. So the research in this area is a relatively new field for domestic.The first chapter of this paper introduces the development status of wood structuremodular processing and CNC technology at home and abroad. The second chapter according tothe basic functional requirements of woodworking CNC machine to set up experimentalplatform for motion control. The third chapter finished tool compensation algorithm and linearinterpolation error analysis of five axis woodworking CNC machine. The fourth chapter hascarried on the design and development of the man-machine interface for motion control system.The fifth chapter studied wood structure modular processing, parametric design and theautomatic generation method of G code. The sixth chapter has summarized and prospected themain contents of this paper.The main results of this research are:(1) Completed the tool compensation algorithm and carried on the error analysis of linearinterpolation. And according to the range of allowable error can determine the minimuminterpolation points. (2) Take advantage of C#language and OpenGL technology combining SharpGLextension libraries to develop HMI of motion control system on the platform of VS2010, andrealizes the visual graphic display.(3) In order to improve the production efficiency and reduce error rate of the program,realized the wood structure modular processing and parameter design. And simulate severalwooden parts by changing the parameters of the interface. Through the compiled programmodule, the method that general G code instructions can be automatically generated is realized,which can automatically generate the corresponding G code according to the geometricparameters of wood structures.
