Separating the mixture into a process of two or more different from each otheroperation of the product and petrochemical production rectification means is the mostcommon and most important separation apparatus. For distillation multivariable predictivecontrol, in improving the economic efficiency of the production process and productquality plays a significant effect, in the petrochemical production has been widely praised.In this paper, acrylic industry industrial characteristics, trying to propylene productionprocess predictive control study, which hopes to achieve production cost savings, increaseproductivity purposes. The article first introduces the propylene fractionators’ process,propylene fractionator through software emulation to Aspen for data acquisition. UsingMatlab to achieve single-step predictive control algorithm, and using simulink realizationof propylene fractionator predictive control. In the research article describes theappropriate interspersed Aspen software and predictive control algorithm theory.
