Interference fit has been widely used in the gear, shaft coupling and other mechanical parts in the connection. According to the function of the interference fit can be divided into two categories, transfer load and fixed role. To the interference fit of the transfer load, the traditional calculation is based on the matching parts happening the coordination of elastic deformation as its design criteria. With the development and perfection of plastic mechanics, now in the design of interference fit, its design criteria has been extended to the elastoplastic state, so that the use of material is more reasonable and sufficient. Therefore, to carry out the elastic-plastic to impact and study of the design criteria of interference fit, that provides a theoretical basis and design reference for research to the axis and wheel hub design, the selection of tolerance matching and intensity check.Based on elastic-plastic theory in this paper, aiming at the interference fit of the axis and wheel hub in the project to solve the problem as follow:(1) In the elastic condition, we establish to avoid the hub into the critical amount of interference of the plastic deformation and the calculation method of stress analysis;(2) Deduced by analogy method under the polar coordinate, the equilibrium differential equation of plane problem should be the form of a stress function;(3) In order to avoid the trouble of deformation condition and the nonlinear constitutive, with statically determinate method, we are directly to the equilibrium equation and yield conditions to establish under the elastic-plastic bossing the calculation method of the stress component of the interference fit of the axis and wheel hub;(4) MATLAB platform for the axis and wheel hub interference stress analysis establishes the visualization research, and for using in engineering the method of design, calculation and application research on the construction of the platform has made the preliminary attempt;(5) To evalue for the establishment of the method, this paper use the ANSYS APDL language after the interference fit to solve the elastic-plastic stress and strain. And we can master the technology of ANSYS finite element analysis in engineering application.Results show that the solution to the amount of interference fit in the engineering application design is reasonable. Thus, there is the certain reference value.
