In this paper, experimental study of cutting machining of hardened steel for systemanalysis, development of a fixture for hardened steel milling experiments, won the nationalutility model patents. Proposed a method to obtain the roots of milling chips,chute millingmethod, this method has been hardened steel cutting mechanism. Pre-milling method chuteoperation is simple, can save materials and test time, and cutting parameters can change at anysingle factor or factors in order to improve the efficiency of the test. Experimental verificationis true, and made a part of the chip relative to the root of the material for the body materialcharacterization is more obvious, this approach also won the national utility model patents.Theoretical analysis of the milling speed, feed rate, axial cutting depth and radial cuttingdepth on milling force, shows that high-speed milling of hardened steel should adopthigh-speed, low feed, small depth of cut milling way. Milling parameters analyzed todetermine the level of the value of high-speed machining center milling of hardened steel.Select the appropriate work piece material, tool material combinations on a hardenedsteel machining center for milling force measurement experiments.By experiment milling speed, feed per tooth, axial cutting depth and radial cutting depthchanges affecting the single factor of X, Y, Z three directions largest milling force. Furthervalidation: With axial depth, radial depth of cut and feed per tooth increase the amount ofmilling force increases; But with the increase of milling speed, also is the increase of spindlespeed, change tendency of the maximum cutting force is increased at first and reached acertain value and then began to decline, then with the milling speed increases milling forcedecreases.Proposes a method to fit the experimental data of empirical formula of cutting force,summed up the data processing method for machining hardened steel research and cuttingforce, which is to be fitted by the least squares method to calculate five parameters, and thenon this basis, plans to take the search scope Monte Carlo random number quadratic fitprinciple, the test proved its reliability and accuracy has been greatly improved.
