With the continuous improvement of the rapid development of rural economy andrural living standards, total sewage emissions continue to increase in rural areas.Wastewater contains large amounts of pathogenic microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa and helminthes, which is a serious threat to human health. But researchers found it difficult to find a suitable method of disinfection in ruralsewage treatment system. In recent years, more and more scholars regard allelopathyas a method of disinfection, trying to use biological methods, in the originalecosystem for sewage removal of pathogenic microorganisms. In order to study the effect of disinfection wetland creatures allelopathy, theexperiment intends to choose and one viruses with bacterial hosts, coliphage f2, ischosen in this research as surrogates for human enteroviruses to assess the rootexudates of11kinds of plants (Zea mays, Cucumis sativus, Oryza sativa, Eichhorniacrassipes, Lolium perenne, Iris tectorum, Canna indica, Polygonum hydropiper,Acorus tatarinowii, Phragmites communis and Typha latifolia), choosing hydrophyteswhose roots have a strong inhibition to coliphage f2. Three experiments usinghydroponic solution (plant nutrient solution, distilled water, add a suitableconcentration of phage phage solution) cultivation of plants, and collect plantshydroponic solution. The inhibition was measured by the double plate agar method. To reflect the real condition of the root exudates, choosing in-situ extraction unit forefficient inhibition of plant root exudates phages were extracted, analyzed by capillaryelectrophoresis whose roots have a strong inhibition to coliphage f2.Experimental results show that differences in hydroponic nutrient solution oncoliphage f2was remarkable. The inhibition rate of corn and cucumber significantinhibitory effect is as high as100%when training time is48h. The inhibitory effect ofpolygonum hydropiper, Iris tectorum, canna indica, acorus tatarinowii is100%within24h. Organic acids in root exudates of different plant species and assay results show that no added biological inhibitor group, and the organic acid in acorustatarinowii is lactic acid, which acid contents are30.76g/L and9.99g/Lrespectively, In the experimental group had added biological inhibitor group, themalic acid content in acorus tatarinowii and canna indica are6.21g/L and7.01g/Lrespectively. Study results reveal the plant root exudates inhibitory substances orprovide the scientific basis for using hydrophyte allelochemicals to reduce the virusconcentration in rural sewage treatment system. The substances inhibiting rootexudates are need to be research deep.
